Concordia Seminary is pleased to announce the appointment of Laura L. Thompson as Director of Financial Aid.

Prior to her appointment at Concordia Seminary, Ms. Thompson served on the staff of St. Louis Community Credit Union. She began her employment there as assistant to its in-house Financial Planner. She concluded her service there in the position of Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations.

Ms. Thompson received her baccalaureate degree from Southern Methodist University where she graduated magna cum laude in 1981.

“Laura has been given the requisite gifts and work experiences to serve future pastors of the church through our financial assistance programs,” stated Rev. Larry Rockemann, Vice President for Student Life at Concordia Seminary. “She will bring great strength to the division of student life.”

She began her new responsibilities as Director of Financial Aid at Concordia Seminary on Nov. 9.
