New Campus Store Opening at Concordia Seminary

Concordia Seminary, St. Louis will soon welcome its new Campus Store, which is scheduled to open next month. The “Soft Opening” will be on Wednesday, Aug. 1, followed by its Grand Opening on Wednesday, Aug. 29.

The Campus Store will be located across from the Chapel of St. Timothy and St. Titus, where the Welcome Center has previously been housed. Please note: due to campus construction, the temporary entrance to the store will be the door around the back of the building. There will be outdoor signage to guide you.

Erika Bennett, the Seminary’s Campus Store manager, has over 10 years of retail experience. Bennett managed the previous bookstore on campus operated by Concordia Publishing House.

The new Campus Store will sell a wide variety of products, including logo clothing and gifts, greeting cards, and books authored by Concordia Seminary faculty as well as those published by Concordia Seminary Press.

The store will also sell food including soda, water, snacks, candy, and ice cream from local St. Louis companies North Star and Ted Drewes. The new Campus Store will be offering Saint Louis Bread Company coffee and deli sandwiches, wraps, and other items from Applegate’s and Dickey’s Barbecue Pit.

Unlike the previous bookstore, the new Campus Store will not sell textbooks. Concordia Seminary’s textbooks are available for purchase online at http://csl.textbookx.com/institutional/index.php.
