High school youth invited to Concordia Seminary’s Vocatio visitation event

Registration deadline is June 1

Concordia Seminary, St. Louis will host the weeklong visitation event Vocatio for high school youth June 25-30 on campus. The event is a fun opportunity for students entering grades nine through 12 to explore God’s calling in their lives and their future vocations through studying theology, learning from Seminary professors and engaging in thoughtful conversation.

Throughout the week, students will participate in daily chapel worship, a servant event and a college fair sponsored by the Concordia University System. Students also will enjoy an afternoon at the City Museum and enjoy world-famous Ted Drewes Frozen Custard.

“As much as each participant is already considering ‘What will I be when I grow up?’ it’s great to see some participants exploring how God is equipping them for a full-time vocation in the church,” said Rev. Bill Wrede, director of ministerial recruitment and admissions. “Others are looking forward to being faith-filled Christians in whatever vocation they pursue.”

Registration is $150 for students, in addition to travel costs. Scholarships are available to ensure travel costs do not prevent people from attending. Meals and housing on-campus are provided.

The registration deadline is June 1. Register online by clicking here or mail a registration form and $150 check (payable to Concordia Seminary) to:
