Sign School
The Concordia Seminary Sign School offers instruction in American Sign Language and deaf culture. Courses are taught using the most up-to-date methods. All classes are open to the public, as well as to the Seminary community.
Sign School Instructors and Staff
Kara Simmons is the director of the Sign School. She is available to handle special arrangements, questions or concerns.
Ella Eakins is the lead instructor at the sign school. She is a native ASL user. She has taught ASL for several years and is a member of the Missouri American Sign Language Teachers Association (MO-ASLTA).
We are now offering tutoring on the Seminary campus for anyone needing extra help with their signing skills. Please contact the sign school office for more details.

From Clayton Road, turn right (if traveling from the east) or left (if traveling from the west) onto DeMun Avenue. Proceed to the end of DeMun and turn left onto the campus. Sieck Hall parking will be the first driveway on the right.
