Concordia Seminary is pleased to offer an event for college students thinking about becoming pastors or deaconesses - Green and Gold Day. Throughout the year, Concordia Seminary will host three one-day events for these college students.  Each Green and Gold Day will provide a quick opportunity for college men and women to come and see all the Seminary offers. They will experience the campus and community, attend classes, worship in chapel and speak with members of the faculty.

One unique feature of Green and Gold Days is that pastors and pre-seminary advisors are encouraged to attend the event with their students. By extending this invitation, Concordia Seminary hopes to recognize their role in supporting students interested in pastoral and deaconess studies.

To register for this event, please contact the Admissions Office at 800-822-9545 or
admissions@csl.edu.

“Contemplate” is a structured visitation event designed for men interested in pastoral formation and women interested in deaconess formation. The itinerary includes a multitude of opportunities for you to experience Concordia Seminary and receive answers to the many questions you may have. Visit with the Seminary faculty, staff and students as well as other event participants and their spouses. Worship with the Seminary community in morning and evening chapel services. Attend informational sessions on topics such as ministry, spirituality, and student services, including a wealth of information about relocation. Get a handle on the admissions process by attending a group overview and/or scheduling individual appointments with admissions counselors. Hear from current students and spouses (with lots of opportunities for you to ask questions!) at an organized student panel discussion. Complete your visit with a stop at St. Louis’ historic Forest Park (including the St. Louis Zoo) just a mile from our campus.
