About Me: I’m a PK (pastor’s kid). My father’s first assignment was in California so I’m a native Californian. We moved to Sheboygan, Wisconsin in 1965 so I’m also a Packer & Brewer fan. I graduated from UW-Milwaukee in December 1985 with a BBA in marketing. I worked for Schering-Plough Corp.- Plough Division before working with Lutheran Brotherhood. From there, God led me to Concordia Seminary in 1991 and I graduated in May 1995. Mary and I have been married since October 25, 1986. We have seven children. I enjoy being with the family, “frying out” (“grilling” or “BBQ-ing”), biking through Forest Park, cooking, canning, baking and making home-brew beer!
What I love about the St. Louis area: Forest Park-the Zoo and various museums, the Friday Movies in the Park in July, the Hill’s restaurants, Seamus McDaniel’s, McGurk’s in Soulard, and Soulard Farmers’ Market. I also love the “big city” and all that it offers. And yet, it is easy to get to most places in the surrounding area within 30 minutes from the Sem.
