David Johnson

Rev. Johnson came to Concordia Seminary for his M.Div. after graduating with a music degree from the University of Colorado and a Masters in Music from Valparaiso University. He taught at Valparaiso University for two years before starting his path into ministry at Concordia Seminary. After graduation he was installed as an assistant pastor Immanuel Lutheran Church in Connecticut for two years before being installed as a senior pastor at Immanuel Lutheran Church and School in New Hampshire.

In addition to his time as a pastor, Rev. Johnson has been in the role of Director of Worship Arts Resources at Concordia Publishing House, as well as being the Executive Director for the Commission on Worship for the LCMS. He brings a wealth of experience from his time as minister of music for various churches since 1998. He has also been a speaker and facilitator for various seminars and conferences around the country.
