Hear from the dynamic duo at the helm of Concordia Seminary, St. Louis. Meyer will share an insider’s view of the strategic issues and plans for the Seminary. The first lady will address how the campus engages with the broader community, resulting in enhanced relationships and goodwill among our neighbors. Questions from the audience will be welcome!
- Presentation by Tim Townsend, author of Mission at Nuremberg
Join Townsend, a reporter and editor specializing in religion and public life, for a lively discussion of the research and process of writing Mission at Nuremberg, the gripping true account of the LCMS Army chaplain sent to minister to the Nazis incarcerated at Nuremberg. Hear how this story addresses questions of faith, guilt, forgiveness and salvation and its relevance for today.
- Presentation by Dr. Erik Herrmann, Chairman of the Department of Historical Theology and Director of the Center for Reformation Research at the Seminary
As historian on set during the filming of this year’s “Martin Luther: The Idea that Changed the World,” Herrmann brings unique insights and anecdotes regarding this historic and acclaimed movie. Plan to be entertained and inspired by Herrmann’s revelations!
