The Concordia Seminary Chorus, St. Louis, will conclude its 2006 Advent Tour by providing an expanded choral version of Evening Prayer this Sunday, Dec. 17, at 3:00 p.m. in the Seminary’s Chapel of St. Timothy and St. Titus. The service includes congregational participation in hymns and psalms emphasizing Advent themes. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
The Seminary Chorus, under the direction of Rev. Henry Gerike, is comprised of students who are preparing to serve as pastors in The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. Its 2006 Advent Tour included appearances in Missouri, Iowa and Minnesota. Its 2007 Spring Tour will include travel through Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas and Arkansas.
