Alumni to Return to Concordia Seminary

All alumni who have graduated from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis in years ending in “0” or “5,” as well as the spouses and widows of those individuals, are invited to an alumni reunion June 9-11, 2015, on campus.

This reunion of pastors and theology students from across decades and across the world will be rooted in the theme of Concordia Seminary’s 2014-2015 school year, “Helpers of Joy” (2 Cor. 1:24). Several presentations will reflect this theme:

The event will be rounded out with opening worship, campus tours, a carillon concert, and a cookout June 9, as well as a jubilarian service and a special banquet with members of each class seated together on the evening of June 10.

Alumni are encouraged to organize special gatherings for members of their own classes during the reunion; space can be set aside on campus for each interested class to meet.

Advance registration is required, and optional housing and meals will be available on campus. The Lutheran Church Extension Fund [4] has graciously underwritten a portion of the reunion costs.

“We are proud of our alumni who are serving the Church and the world far and wide,” said Michael Redeker, director of alumni relations. “On behalf of the entire campus community, I look forward to welcoming back God’s ‘helpers of joy’ with happiness and high spirits!”
