Friends, alumni, faculty and staff together contributed a record $130,156 for Concordia Seminary, St. Louis’ annual Give Green and Gold Day [1], surpassing the $108,000 goal and setting a new benchmark for the campaign’s seven-year history.
Some 378 donors contributed to the 2025 campaign, themed “Let it Shine,” a celebration of the Seminary’s mission to equip future church leaders to share the light of Christ in congregations and communities around the world. All funds raised will support the Seminary’s highest priorities, ensuring resources are directed where they are needed most.
To further amplify the impact of each gift, all unrestricted contributions made during the Give Green and Gold Day campaign were matched dollar for dollar up to the first $54,000 raised, helping to drive momentum toward the $108,000 goal.
“We are immensely grateful to all of the donors who gave so generously,” said Vicki Biggs, senior vice president of Seminary Advancement and chief communications officer. “This outpouring of support means so much as we work together to fulfill the vital mission of Concordia Seminary: preparing faithful pastors and other church leaders to bring the Gospel to a world in need.”
Seminary friends were invited to encourage others in their support for the Seminary’s Give Green and Gold Day by spreading the word on social media using the hashtag #GiveGreenandGold, by sharing the giving page [1] or by calling 800-822-5287.
