Record-setting $87,566 raised for Give STL Day

During a special online giving event May 7, 2026, local and nationwide supporters of Concordia Seminary, St. Louis came together to advance the Seminary’s vital mission, donating a record-setting $87,566 for Give STL Day.

“Thank you to each and every donor who helped make our 2026 Give STL Day campaign such a wonderful success!” said Vicki Biggs, senior vice president of Seminary Advancement and chief communications officer. “The generosity and support of our many friends and supporters continually both inspires and amazes us. We are blessed beyond measure to have such partners in mission as we strive to prepare the church’s future pastors and deaconesses. Thank you again for this tremendous outpouring of love and care for the benefit of our students and all that we do at Concordia Seminary.”

All gifts given will be used where needed most in support of the Seminary’s mission to prepare the church’s future pastors, missionaries and deaconesses. A matching opportunity was available, doubling the impact of each unrestricted gift up to the first $25,000 raised.

This online annual giving event is organized by the St. Louis Community Foundation for the benefit of St. Louis-based nonprofits. Early giving began April 22 on the Give STL Day [1] site, by phone and on the Seminary’s website.
