DESCRIPTION:Join us for a birthday celebration in honor of Johann Sebastian Bach from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday\, March 31\, at the Kristine Kay Hasse Memorial Library. This event is free and open to the public. The evening will include a light hors d’oeuvres reception\, live performances of Bach’s music and a public viewing of Bach’s annotated Bible. \nAlso included in the evening’s events is a panel discussion\, “How is Bach important today?\,” with Seminary faculty and staff: \n\nDr. Bruce Durazzi\, Special Collections Librarian\nDr. James Marriott\, Kreft Chair for Music Arts\nDr. David Maxwell\, Louis A.
