Leadership Training and Coaching
What would help you the most in ministry? A way to lead without being controlling? A helpful way to develop people and grow leaders? A positive way to handle accountability issues? A powerful way to empower people? If you said, “yes” to any of these then the answer is probably coaching. Often misunderstood, coaching is a powerful way to unlock potential. This is not a class where you sit behind a table and learn it all from a book. This class will provide opportunities to observe, experiment, test and participate in coaching through a variety of settings and situations. It will be a coaching laboratory that will fast forward your development and increase your effectiveness and productivity. Whether you are new to coaching or are looking to refine your skills, this course will be a valuable tool for you. We will define what coaching is and how it compares to other helping skills. We will introduce the coaching fundamentals, but more than that some of the keys to working with a wide variety of people to empower their service, growth and development. Learning and experiencing these best practices will provide you with a framework for approaching your ministry relationship in ways that will produce lasting results.
