Description

Join us as we welcome new and returning students to campus for the 2021-22 academic year during the Opening Weekend Hymn Festival at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 29, in the Chapel of St. Timothy and St. Titus! Bring your family and friends for a celebration in song as we sing our faith and make witness to the promises of God in Jesus Christ. The hymn festival also will be available via live stream at csl.edu/live.

The hymn festival will feature Dr. James Marriott, the Kreft Chair for Music Arts, as composer, organist and conductor. Members of the St. Louis Lutheran Chorale will serve as the choir for the performance. New students are invited to audition for our choral ensembles by contacting Marriott during Orientation week.

The festival serves as the kick-off to the annual Concordia Seminary Concert Series.

Reminder: Anyone with symptoms of COVID-19, even those who are vaccinated, should avoid coming to campus, and are encouraged to get tested as soon as possible. People who are vaccinated are not required to wear facial coverings while on campus.
