Prof Insights: Faculty-Led Workshop 2021 – Professor Voelz in Sun City West, AZ

Description
The Gospel According to St. Mark
The Gospel according to Mark supplies the majority of Gospel lessons for Series B, which began in November 2020. This workshop will provide a detailed survey of the second Gospel, including a discussion of introductory material (e.g., textual critical and literary features) and the consideration of key pericopes (e.g., the Garden of Gethsemane scene and the death of Jesus). Specific attention will be paid to the ending of the Gospel, including difficulties surrounding it.
