DESCRIPTION:The Book of Jeremiah: Overcoming Life’s Sorrows\nBased upon Dr. Reed Lessing’s book Overcoming Life’s Sorrows: Learning from Jeremiah (Concordia Publishing House\, 2021)\, this course will be a combination of in-depth study and practical application — all based upon one of the prophet’s major themes\, surviving life’s sorrows. \n\n\n\n\nDr. Reed Lessing\nProfessor of Theology and Ministry; and Director of the Center for Biblical Studies\, Concordia University\, Saint Paul\, Minn.\nDr. Reed Lessing has served as a seminary professor and parish pastor\, combining both vocations in his presentations and writings. Lessing has authored five commentaries for Concordia Publishing House — all on Old Testament prophets.
