SMP Fall 2019 Cohort application deadlines

Application deadline: April 30, 2019

ELCE deadline: May 31, 2019
Vicarage application deadline: April 30, 2019

NOTE: Completed applications for fall 2019 enrollment will be due from the LCMS district offices to Ministerial Recruitment and Admissions by April 30, 2019. Please do not send applications to the Specific Ministry Pastor (SMP) Program. Applications should be addressed to:

The complete application must be received by the Seminary no later than the due date. All Entry Level Competency Exams (ELCEs) must be passed by 11:59 p.m. May 31, 2019.

Students who begin the SMP Program in fall 2019 and their mentors are required to attend new student Orientation week at the beginning of the 2019-20 academic year, Aug. 20-23, 2019.
