Registration deadline: Aug. 2, 2024

This course is designed to prepare students for study of the Greek New Testament at the master’s level and to prepare them to pass the Seminary’s Greek Entry Level Competency Exam (ELCE). Students must take both fall and spring semesters of the course to pass the ELCE. The course itself does not fulfill a Seminary admissions requirement and carries no academic credit. It may be taken, however, by individuals seeking personal study and enrichment (space permitting).

During the course, students will learn to read the Greek of the New Testament through a combination of pre-recorded video lectures, live online class sessions with Dr. James W. Voelz and individual study. The course is set to be completed in 30 weeks in the fall and spring semesters. NOTE: This form registers you for fall semester 2024 only.
