Concordia Seminary, St. Louis [1] honored faculty members who have recently written or contributed to published books at its annual Faculty Author Reception May 15 cohosted by Concordia Publishing House [2].
“Our annual author’s reception is a wonderful time when we celebrate God’s gifts to the church through the published writings of our faculty,” said Dr. Charles Arand, dean of Theological Research and Publication. “It is an important way by which we share our teaching and conversations with scholars, pastors and people in the church beyond the Seminary and out into the world. This year’s reception was particularly memorable as we honored Dr. James W. Voelz and Dr. Robert Kolb with special books published in their honor.”
