Annual service award celebration honors 15 faculty, staff for milestone anniversaries

In celebration of milestone anniversaries, 15 faculty and staff members received recognition for a combined 240 years of service to Concordia Seminary, St. Louis. The Seminary community honored the awardees during the daily service April 17 in the Chapel of St. Timothy and St. Titus. An indoor reception followed in Koburg Hall.

“We give thanks to God for such dedicated faculty and staff. From top to bottom of the list, these men and women bring gifts that enrich our Seminary community and strengthen our work,” said Seminary President Dr. Thomas J. Egger [1]. “From Deb Roediger, who has served on the Seminary staff for 50 years, to Professors Golden, Prieto and Vieker, who have been with us for just five years each but bring with them a wealth of previous ministry experience — and every name in between — we have been blessed by these colleagues, and we honor and congratulate them today.”

Following the reading of the names, the congregation applauded their colleagues’ dedication.
