Faithful Time Stewardship: Leading Well in a Demanding Call

Pastors face competing demands on their time from preaching, teaching, care, administration and community leadership. This session provides practical tools to prioritize responsibilities, manage interruptions and steward time faithfully while maintaining personal and family well-being.

Dr. Kevin Golden

Associate Professor of Exegetical Theology, Dean of Ministerial Formation, and Director of Resident Field Education

Dr. Kevin Golden is associate professor of Exegetical Theology, dean of Ministerial Formation, and director of Resident Field Education at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis. He joined the faculty in 2021. He previously served as pastor of Village Lutheran Church, Ladue, Mo. (2009-21), and as pastor of Grace Lutheran Church, Holts Summit, Mo. (2002-09). Golden earned his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and his Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from Concordia Seminary (2010, 1999). In 1995, Golden received a Bachelor of Arts in antiquities and religious studies, graduating summa cum laude in the Honors College at Missouri State University in Springfield, Mo.

Dr. Joey-Lynn Bialkowski

Adjunct Professor, Batterman School of Business, Concordia University Wisconsin, Mequon, Wi.

Dr. Joey-Lynn Bialkowski-Peterson, founder & CEO of The Leadership Studio and a leadership and organizational development consultant who partners with Fortune 100–500 organizations to design and scale high-impact leadership strategies. A certified executive coach and former higher education executive, Dr. Bialkowski-Peterson brings nearly two decades of experience across corporate, academic and workforce ecosystems. She is known for translating leadership theory into practical, results-driven application—helping organizations strengthen leadership pipelines, elevate performance and align talent with business outcomes. A former co-founder of an EdTech company and executive director of Career Engagement & Industry Relations, her work is grounded in the belief that self-leadership is the foundation of effective leadership and a true competitive advantage when scaled.
