To enter one of the Graduate School degree programs, international applicants must complete an application and submit it along with the other required materials.
International applicants are required to present a score for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and may be required to present a score for the Test of Spoken English (TSE). Both tests are available via the internet. An ordinary minimum TOEFL raw score of 200 (computer-based test) is required, with an ordinary minimum raw score of 23 on the Structure/Writing portion of the test.

Concordia Seminary is authorized under federal law to enroll nonimmigrant alien students. The Seminary is NOT authorized by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to accept international “visiting scholars” with J-1 Exchange Visitor visas, whether as students or instructors. Concordia Seminary’s Registrar is the Primary Designated School Officer (PDSO).
