Applications for Seminary-owned residence halls and married student housing are available via SemNet in January of each calendar year for the following academic year. The housing application deadline is March 31. Students are encouraged to apply early for priority consideration of their specific housing needs.
On-Campus Single Students
Single students have the option of living in a residence hall or seeking off-campus housing. For those students wishing to live on campus, Concordia Seminary offers five halls with 90 student rooms, including double-occupancy rooms; private, single-occupancy rooms; and private double rooms.
Renovations to all five residence halls were completed in 2012. Residence hall rooms are furnished with a desk, chair, bookshelf, dresser or chest of drawers, wardrobe or closet, and a bed with mattress. Laundry facilities are located conveniently on campus.
Students living in residence halls are required to participate in the 10-midday meal plan, which consists of 10 meals per week: lunch Monday – Friday, Saturday brunch and four evening meals (Monday – Thursday). The food service staff offers a variety of options for students with special dietary needs.

On-Campus Married Students
Concordia Seminary’s Founders Way Apartments offer 75 housing units for married students, consisting of 60 apartment units, 10 three-bedroom townhouses and five two-bedroom townhouses. The complex, known around campus as “The Woods” because of the many trees growing nearby, has a park-like feel. Many of these comfortable and convenient accommodations for married couples also are large enough to accommodate families with children.
Each apartment has a stove and refrigerator, but is otherwise unfurnished. All Founders Way apartment buildings offer the following amenities: air conditioning, washer and dryer hookups in the basement, local telephone services, basic cable and high-speed internet access. The electric bill is the only utility that tenants are responsible for paying that is not included in the monthly rent. Pets are not permitted.
