Interim Ministry: Basic Training for Transitions (Phase 2)
Do you desire to become a more effective transitional leader and agent of the Gospel? Are you considering intentional interim ministry as a possibility for your future? As the world continues to change, we confront both profound grief and tantalizing possibilities. How can we better equip ourselves to guide congregations through difficult transitions and into new life?
Lutheran Transitional Ministry Association (LuTMA, formerly NALIP) touches this reality, encouraging curiosity and growth. Since 1997, the organization has worked with thousands of pastors and multiple partners nationwide and offered training to help those entering interim ministry to navigate congregational dynamics and serve as a transitional leader.
The first phase of the course is offered as a virtual platform in 12 sessions beginning in October 2021 and concluding in February 2022. The second phase of the course is offered as a residential platform at one of three locations including Concordia Seminary, St. Louis or in Irvine, Calif., or Orlando, Fla. The third phase is an optional virtual platform.
Registration is $1,500. The deadline to register is Oct. 1, 2021.
