Description
What Can 8th Century B.C. Prophets Teach the 21st Century?
Separated by nearly three millennia and significant cultural differences, the great prophets of the 8th century B.C. – Isaiah, Micah, Amos, Hosea and Jonah – can seem a world apart. Yet the Spirit remains active in their message so that we would be strengthened in the faith. We will consider the 8th-century B.C. prophets in their original context, compare that context to our own and apply the Word of the Lord that they delivered afresh to our own day.
