This workshop will provide an overview of the narrative and Christology of Mark’s Gospel, with insights into how to preach the Markan pericopes in Series B of the three-year lectionary.

Dr. David Lewis is an associate professor of Exegetical Theology, director of the Master of Divinity and Residential Alternate Route Programs, Student Association adviser and the Dr. Jack Dean Kingsbury Professor of New Testament Theology at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis. His areas of interest and expertise include biblical Greek, hermeneutics and the Synoptic Gospels—particularly the Gospel of Mark.
