Fall Visitation Weekend for Prospective Students

Concordia Seminary, St. Louis will host the 1999 Fall Visitation Weekend, Oct. 7-9, on its campus. All men who are interested in learning more about the preparation that leads to service as a pastor and their guests are invited to attend.

Visitors will have the opportunity to participate in worship in The Chapel of St. Timothy and St. Titus, to visit classes and to tour the campus. Participants also will hear presentations on academic offerings, financial assistance, housing, resident field education, vicarage and the admission process. Guests may take time to see the St. Louis area and take advantage of the recreational opportunities, such as the Gateway Arch, Six Flags, the St. Louis Zoo and the St. Louis Science Center.

There is no charge for the Fall Visitation Weekend. All meals and lodging will be provided free of charge. To arrive early or stay longer, a nominal fee of $10 a person per night will be assessed. Transportation to Concordia Seminary from the airport, bus station or train station is available.

A special women’s information session on Saturday morning has proven to be very popular for wives, fiancees and girlfriends who attended past Fall Visitation Weekends.
