Wyneken Auditorium Seats Offered

Wyneken Auditorium on the Concordia Seminary campus is being renovated as the first step in the implementation of the Seminary’s new campus master plan. The seats in Wyneken Auditorium which were installed in the 1920s are being removed and offered to anyone interested in purchasing them. They are rare, wooden, theater-type seats which should be purchased in groups of seven, ten or fifteen. Some individual seats may also be available.

Concordia Seminary has placed an advertisement on “ebay.com” in order to offer the seats to interested buyers worldwide. The e-bay ad expires July 29 and is item #1449894913.

“Many of us have memories of sitting in those seats for daily chapel services, lectures and other events during our student days here,” commented Rev. Glen D. Thomas, vice president for Seminary Relations for Concordia Seminary. “Some of our alumni might be interested in a row of these seats which could add a unique touch to a room or office and would also evoke a great deal of nostalgia.”

Those interested should contact the Seminary’s business office at 314.505.7302 or [email protected].
