Concordia Seminary Chorus Announces Advent Tour

The Concordia Seminary Chorus, St. Louis, announces its 2005 Advent Tour. All of the presentations, with the exception of those in Wausau, Wis., will include an expanded choral version of Evening Prayer that encourages the participation of the congregation in hymns and psalms. The Seminary Chorus will present choral music for the season of Advent on the following dates:

Sunday, December 4, at 3:00 p.m.
The Chapel of St. Timothy and St. Titus, Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri

Wednesday, December 7, at 7:00 p.m.
Chapel of the Cross Lutheran Church, St. Louis, Missouri

Friday, December 9, at 7:00 p.m.
Immanuel Lutheran Church, Belvidere, Illinois

Saturday, December 10, at 7:00 p.m.
Faith Lutheran Church, Green Bay, Wisconsin

Sunday, December 11, at 7:30 a.m., 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau, Wisconsin

Sunday, December 11, at 3:30 p.m.
St. Peter Lutheran Church, Reedsburg, Wisconsin

The touring choir of the Concordia Seminary Chorus consists of students who are preparing to become pastors in The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. They represent a portion of the full Concordia Seminary Chorus. Rev. Henry V. Gerike is the director of the choir.
