Seminary Chorus Leaves Campus for Spring Tour

The Concordia Seminary Chorus, under the direction of Rev. Henry V. Gerike, boarded a tour bus early this morning, leaving the Seminary campus on its more than 3,000-mile Spring Tour. The Chorus will visit Lutheran churches in Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska and Iowa on its 2006 Spring Tour. The Chorus will provide evening sacred concerts which will include prayer, Scripture reading and congregational singing. In two congregations, the Chorus will offer vocal selections during Sunday morning worship services.

The touring choir of the Concordia Seminary Chorus consists of students who are preparing to become pastors in The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. They represent a portion of the full Concordia Seminary Chorus.
