Concordia Seminary Publishes Additional Information on Specific Ministry Pastor Program

Concordia Seminary, St. Louis announces that additional information regarding the Specific Ministry Pastor (SMP) Program is available on its Web site in the form of a frequently asked questions document. Those interested in viewing the document may access a PDF version at www.csl.edu/img/SMPFAQs.pdf and a Microsoft Word version at www.csl.edu/img/SMPFAQs.doc.

Nearly 76% of the delegates at The 63rd Convention of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod in Houston passed Resolution 5-01B, titled “To Establish Specific Ministry Pastor Program” (SMP), following its presentation to the convention by representatives from both LCMS Seminaries and the Synod’s Board for Pastoral Education.
