“The years of faithful service to our Lord and His people given by these eight men bespeak the faithfulness of our good and gracious God, who always gives His church gifts to carry out His work (Eph. 4:8, 11),” commented Dr. James Voelz, dean of the faculty at Concordia Seminary. “Together, they have served in many lands, in many languages, and in many stations and positions, both here and elsewhere, and we at Concordia Seminary are glad and proud to call them our brothers in Christ.”
