Exciting News About He Qi Exhibition At Concordia Seminary

“Look Toward the Heavens: The Art of He Qi,” the current exhibition at the Concordia Historical Institute on Concordia Seminary’s campus, has been extended through February 2010 due to popular demand.

In addition, a documentary entitled “He Qi: The Peaceful Message,” created and produced by Seminary media producer, Dale Ward, and managing editor of theological publications, Rev. Travis Scholl, will be shown on the “Frames” series on local St. Louis HEC-TV. “Frames” is a program that features local filmmakers and their work. The documentary may be viewed on January 19 and January 26, 2010, at 8:00 p.m. CST.

“We are thrilled to have the peaceful presence of He Qi’s artwork with us for an extra month,” commented Scholl, “and that the St. Louis community has been so receptive to his work. In these cold winter months, we will continue to be warmed by his vibrant colors and light.”

As a special offering to the public, the Concordia Historical Institute will open its doors to the He Qi art exhibit between 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. before the January 31 Bach at the Sem concert.

The Concordia Historical Institute is located on the campus of Concordia Seminary at 804 Seminary Place in Clayton, Missouri. It is open from Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. For more information, please call 314-505-7117. To view He Qi’s work online, please visit www.heqigallery.com.
