Dr. George Murphy was the presenter in our ongoing Theological History of Science lecture series, giving a presentation on “Religious Beliefs in Scientific Cosmology” Feb. 6.
Murphy is a retired minister who has a doctorate in theoretical physics from Johns Hopkins University. He writes and speaks on issues of science and theology. He is an adjunct faculty member at Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio, and the author of Pulpit Science Fiction and The Cosmos in the Light of the Cross.
