The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) Missouri District awarded Concordia Seminary with a $20,000 mission grant recently to help support the education costs of the Graduate School’s international students.
The Graduate School enrolls 42 foreign students who collectively are from 17 different countries. These countries include Ethiopia, Kenya, Brazil, China, India, Norway, Venezuela, Taiwan, Thailand, Rwanda and Russia. Many of these students, after earning their advanced-level theological degrees, return to their home countries and become professors at their nations’ seminaries. In these positions, they will help to raise up the next generation of pastors who will work to further spread the Gospel message around the world.
The Seminary is so grateful to the LWML Missouri District for this wonderful grant!
