We are so thankful for our sister seminary in Giheung-gu, Yongin, Korea — Luther University — whose students in the social welfare department made and donated 300 cloth masks to Concordia Seminary for use during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. "Please convey our deep appreciation to your students," Seminary Provost Dr. Douglas L. Rutt told Dr. J.K. Hans Trinklein, dean of the Diakonia College of General Education at Luther University, who delivered the masks Monday. "You have no idea how thankful we are," Health and Wellness Coordinator Dr. Julie Gary told Trinklein. Gary said she was just getting ready to order more masks to replenish the Seminary’s supplies when she learned of the donation. "It's perfect timing,” she said. “These are going to go to great use by our students." #mask
