Faculty from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis and other scholars will share their expertise on topics including the Apostolic Fathers, the Epistle of James, biblical history, adult discipleship and many more as part of the 2026 series being held from June through November nationwide.
This year’s initial series features 18 workshops held at host congregations in Arizona, California, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin. Designed for pastors, other church workers and laypeople, the annual series offers in-depth study on contemporary topics that influence the practice of ministry and worship.
“We are incredibly excited to boost the number of workshops this year,” said Director of Continuing Education Erika Petsch. “With a wide variety of topics and locations, there is something for everyone. We are so grateful for the privilege to bring Concordia Seminary to you through these workshops and invite you to check out the schedule. We cannot wait to see you there!”
Additionally, six brand-new workshops will be coming to the Prof Insights schedule in the coming months. These continuing education workshops will be co-sponsored and alternately taught by faculty from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis and Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Ind., in collaboration with Batterman School of Business professors from Concordia University Wisconsin, Mequon, Wis. The focus of these workshops will be on strengthening strategic leadership and administrative skills for serving the Lord’s work in the field.
The fee for each workshop is $160, which includes Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits for pastors. Registration and payment should be made no later than 14 days before the beginning of each workshop.
