Senior Vice President, Finance, Administration and Operations, CFO/COO

Chad Cattoor is the senior vice president, finance, administration and operations and chief financial officer at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis.

Cattoor joined Concordia Seminary’s staff in 2006 as manager of accounting and reporting and shortly thereafter was promoted to controller. He then was promoted to senior vice president in 2013. In his current role, he oversees the Seminary’s Accounting, Campus Facilities/Environmental Services, Campus Safety, Human Resources, Health and Wellness, Campus Services, Financial Aid and Technology Services departments.  He serves as a member of the Seminary’s President’s Cabinet and on the Board of Regents’ Finance and Audit Committees.

In 2016, Cattoor received the St. Louis Business Journal’s “CFO of the Year” award.

Before joining the Seminary staff, Cattoor served for eight years with The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) Internal Audit Department performing financial and operational audits. A certified public accountant, Cattoor earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Fontbonne University.

Cattoor and his wife, Tonya, have three children and enjoy outdoor family activities.
