Next Steps

Next Steps: An event for prospective students and their families

July 8-9, 2016

Next Steps is geared toward prospective students and their families. This two-day event provides participants an opportunity to connect with the Concordia Seminary community. From visiting the campus to experiencing life with Seminary families, participants find answers to many nagging questions about how to care for your family while attending Seminary.

Overview
Participants learn a lot of useful information about housing, moving companies, employment, health care and child care information, schools, and much more. Children have supervised recreation time during the informational sessions. The panel discussion features current Seminary families answering questions with honest answers from their own experiences. On Friday night, participants are invited to attend an informal BBQ in the Woods (the nickname for married student on-campus housing).

Saturday includes fun events for the whole family. A farewell picnic in nearby Forest Park concludes the formal events.
