This past Saturday, the Student Association held the first ever Concordia Coffeehouse! For a couple hours in the afternoon, the campus community was invited to stop by Koburg Hall for some coffee provided by @gelateriacoffeeco and some live music provided by Ph.D. student Hayden Lukas, fourth-year seminary wife Angela Morris and second-year M.Div. student Adam Tanney. First-year student Chris Shearman, owner of the Gelateria Del Leone, also shared the story of the coffee shop, which is located in the Tower Grove neighborhood of St. Louis. It was a great afternoon of fellowship and community!

This evening, Theological Symposium participants gathered for a reception, Seminary Art Exhibit and the unveiling of the Dr. Jack Dean Kingsbury display in the Kristine Hasse Memorial Library. It was an honor to have Dr. Jack Dean Kingsbury, esteemed alumnus, scholar and philanthropist at the unveiling. After sharing poignant memories of his life and time studying at Concordia Seminary, Dr. Kingsbury encouraged everyone to "keep Concordia close to your heart."
