Alumni Reunion

Our annual Alumni Reunion provides an opportunity for alumni and spouses to reconnect, reminisce and celebrate. It also offers time for alumni to reacquaint themselves with the beautiful Concordia Seminary campus and the global ministry taking place here.

2021 Alumni Reunion

Oct. 14-15, 2021

A special welcome is extended to members of the jubilarian class of 1971 and graduates, spouses and widows of class years ending in "1" or "6."

Reunion highlights

  • Special recognition of jubilarian class and all alumni in chapel
  • A presentation by Dr. Mark Schuler, professor of Theology, Concordia University, St. Paul, Minn.
  • Banquet featuring a performance by the Seminary choir Laudamus
  • Class gatherings

$125 per person for two days or $70 per person for one day.

Reminder: Anyone with symptoms of COVID-19, even those who are vaccinated, should avoid coming to campus, and are encouraged to get tested as soon as possible. People who are vaccinated are not required to wear facial coverings while on campus.

10:30-11:30 a.m. Presentation: Dr. Mark Schuler, Professor of Theology, Concordia University, St. Paul, Minn.
Dr. Mark Schuler ('81), a New Testament and Koine Greek scholar, brings firsthand field work experience to his pioneering classroom delivery. Since 1996, he has traveled frequently to Israel for research and teaching purposes. He has participated in the archaeological excavations at Ein Gedi and Tiberias sponsored by the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and currently directs the Northeast lnsulae Project (now in its publication phase) at the Hippos-Sussita Excavations of the Zinman Institute of Archaeology at the University of Haifa. Join us for a unique opportunity to hear Schuler's astounding insights into early Christianity as revealed by his archaeological research in the Holy Land.

Mingle with Seminary students during this social time featuring complimentary libations and stimulating conversations. The students will welcome wisdom and insight from their alumni brothers and sisters in the field.

We encourage you to connect with your classmates beforehand and suggest to them that they join you to celebrate the many years of blessings God has given to you and His church. We will be happy to assist you with arrangements for individual class gatherings.
